I know you'll be asking, "Zack, why did you go for the 1981 album version and not the 1972 single version?" Well, I chose the version from Stop and Smell the Roses cause it had a bit of an 1980s feeling to it, appropriate cause at the time, Ringo was narrator for Thomas and Friends, y'know?
Well anyway, happy birthday, Ringo!
SP: The Second Coming - Beatles 1976-2002 Albums
Have you ever have this kind of situation happen to you when a story you're planning doesn't quite go in the direction you were intending for it to go? Because that's what happened to me after reading The Fingerprints of Epstein on Alternate History from start to finish. I recommend seeing it if you haven't; it is really good for a Beatles alternate history story. I'm also working on the timeline of events for Strawberry Peppers: The Second Coming, and I will be rewriting some events from 1976 onward in order to accommodate these new changes. No idea when I'll actually start writing for it; hopefully at some point in the near future, but I can't make promises.
Inside Out 2 - Thoughts on Second Trailer
Well, this dropped in today! Since there's three months before it comes out, there's no time like the present to talk about what's happening in the new trailer for Inside Out 2! There will be unmarked spoilers from this point onward, so if you haven't seen the trailer yet, I'll provide the link to it so you can watch it and then read the rest of this journal below. If you're wondering what my initial thoughts were up until this point, I did a video on the Melting Pottery Media channel discussing exactly that, so you can watch that as well if you like. To summarize, my feelings toward Inside Out 2 are mixed, but leaning slightly towards positive. And I wasn't the only one. But let's see what the second trailer has to provide, shall we? Emotions Bowl XXX Last month, probably to get views in response to the Swiftie Bowl, there was a short clip from the movie with Joy sportscasting a hockey game that Riley is taking part in, announcing the other emotions as they make their moves. It's a
Revised Zombies Discography
And no, they're not actual zombies. You know, if the record label didn't screw these guys over, I think they would've been right up there with the Beatles, the Rolling Stones, the Who, the Kinks, etc. as one of the greatest British bands of the 1960s.
SeventyVerse Updates: January 2024
It's been a while since I've done a full length journal! As it's the new year of 2024, I think it's only right that I give you all an update as to what to expect from the SeventyVerse this year. Or at least, as much as I can get finished. So, here they are, in no particular order: Series 6-7 Redux: Part 2 Don't worry, I haven't abandoned it. It's just been on the backburner while I focused on other projects. Rest assured, once I get back to it, I'll finally be able to complete the classic era of Thomas and move onto projects that take place after this. The first story will be an adaptation of Toby Had a Little Lamb, and it will conclude, much like the actual Series 7, with Three Cheers for Thomas. Series 8-12 Redux The rewrites of Series 1-4 episodes all comprise of Phase 1 of Classic Sodor Adventures, and Series 5-7 - as well as Magic Railroad and Jack and the Pack - comprise of Phase 2. As you can tell, Series 8-12 will make up Phase 3, as will Calling All Engines and The Great
